Under the leadership of Sri D. Veerendra Heggade, the SDM Educational Trust in Ujire has been committed to providing educational support to the needy students across Karnataka. One of its key initiatives is the distribution of monthly scholarships to talented students pursuing professional and postgraduate education, particularly in career-focused disciplines.

Since 1985, the Trust has awarded over one crore rupees annually in scholarships, with funds being directly transferred to students’ bank accounts. This financial assistance provided by the Trust enables students to continue their education without the burden of financial constraints, empowering them to focus on achieving their academic and professional goals. This process is held between November and December every year.

New Application

Eligibility Criteria:

  • This scholarship form applies to students enrolled in the first year of postgraduate or professional courses.
  • Applicants must have secured at least 65% in their 10th and 12th-grade examinations or an equivalent CGPA of 8.0.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s parents must not exceed INR 1.5 lakh.

The application deadline is the end of December.

Application Renewal

Eligibility Criteria:

  • This scholarship form is exclusively available to existing beneficiaries.
  • Applicants must have completed the previous academic year without any failures.

Renewal applications must be submitted by the end of December.
