Dharmasthala, June 11: A faculty delegation from SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysuru, visited the Head Office of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Institutions, Ujire.
The team was welcomed by Dr Satheeshchandra S, Secretary of SDM Educational Institutions. The visit was attended by Prof. Vishwanath P., Principal of SDM Autonomous College, and Dr Shridhar N. Bhat, Administrative Registrar. The delegation included Dr. (Lt. Col.) Prasad, Director of SDMIMD, Mysuru, Manager Shreedhar C. V., and other faculty members of the institution.
As part of the visit, the team toured the college library and observed its facilities and services. They appreciated the library’s commitment to promoting knowledge among students while also extending its resources to the public. The delegation expressed particular admiration for the special library section and research centre developed under the guidance of Dr D. Veerendra Heggade, which houses the complete collection of books gathered by renowned Kannada scholar Dr H. M. Nayak. Library Supervisor Yogish briefed the visitors on the unique features and services of the library.
The delegation later visited the Head Office, where Dr Satheeshchandra S introduced them to various departments, including Human Resources, Administration, Accounts, and Finance, and explained their functioning and responsibilities.
During the interaction session that followed, Dr Satheeshchandra S commended the achievements and academic progress of SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysuru. Members of the visiting team expressed their gratitude for the Head Office’s prompt responsiveness and the continuous support extended to their institution.
